Cate called in one Sunday for a catch up chat, her & Sophia had just come from a function at the Chocolate Cottage…where Sophia had her face painted. She had her boots on and the cooliest tights, I thought to myself lets quickly grab some shots….So off we go to the SHED/studio to capture her today, that moment, her face, her boots, her tights, her hair, SOPHIA ….
When Maree and I spoke about her session she wanted to do it in the studio, she thought it would be easier…..Zach & Rhys bought in some toys to have in their shots and Matilda (Tilly) she had all the expressions. We had squeaky toys, clicking of fingers, clapping hands, the works to get Tilly’s attention.

When Nikki spoke to me and wanted Macy & Layla photographed at Queens Park, I thought of 2 little fairies dancing among the gardens. Well these two fluttered, giggled, screamed and ran around like crazy!
so bright & cheerful…yes that’s life…..

ok, it’s been a few months..nearly 5! I have no excuse other than being slack. There’s a quote ” NEVER PUT OFF FOR TOMORROW WHAT YOU CAN DO TODAY” I think that’s how it goes…… My to do list for the next few days is bring my BLOG up to date….
when I first met Sarah I was working at a kodak mini lab and she needed a photographer for her wedding…so the story begins. Precious little Billy arrived before Sarah & Cal walked down the aisle. We did a maternity session on location & at home, we had a few giggles! When Billy arrived I went to the family home and did a newborn session. A few months after that it was a walk down the aisle, for Calvin, Sarah & of course lil Billy. The bridal party were so much fun..Yes next comes Miss Zoe, she was so little when she came to the studio and had her session. So here we are now, the family photo for the grandparents & family & friends. This is what family is all about a life story! Thanks Sarah, Cal, Billy & Zoe for sharing with me:)

Family comes first..
what a HOOT!! Trish & her two ever so funny kiddos! This session was everything but serious…that was right down my alley! From loud giggles, girl germs and cuddles from big sis, nose wrinkles and funny faces, a change of clothes, and a few “are we done yet!” this is what I enjoy and to walk away with these images really makes me smile. Kaylan & Maddy, what a crack up:)

Abby was just 9 days old when I meet her, how sweet is she;) Her little hands were everywhere – her mouth, her fists, love the one where she looks like she contemplating something…if only we knew? Sweet Abby
